RETURNS POLICY

1. Collected Products
All items purchased from a HOMe Building Plastics Ltd branch must be returned either to the branch they were purchased from or any other Home Building Plastics Ltd branch in the UK, along with proof of purchases, receipt or invoice.

2. 2.1 Returns to Stock (Ordered in error or over ordered quantities)
Products ordered in error will be accepted for return within 14 days of receipt of delivery. All returned products must be in a re-sellable condition. We cannot accept damaged products or products with damaged packaging.

2.2 Returns to Stock (Damaged Products)
All products with reported quality issues preventing installation must be returned for examination within 28 days of receipt of delivery, so we can review and resolve any issues. Once a returned product is agreed as defective, a full refund or credit will be issued.

2.3 Returns – Special Order Items
We regret that we cannot refund, in full or in part, special order items.

Special Orders consist of but are not limited to:

  • All Polycarbonate sheets and accompanying accessories and or ancillaries.
  • All Cladding orders and accompanying accessories NOT kept in general stock.
  • All Decking orders and accompanying accessories NOT kept in general stock.
  • All Wall Panels, Shower Panels and accompanying accessories NOT kept in general stock.
  • All Roofing products NOT kept in general stock.
  • Any other product NOT kept in general stock.
  • Any other order (usually non-stock items), accepted and advised by us to be a “Special Order” when placed.

3. Delivered Products
Home Building Plastics Ltd must be informed, within 5 days of delivery of the exact quantities and products of claims before any returns can be authorised so the correct collection notes can be raised for signing. No credits or replacements will be issued if the products delivered or the delivery documents are not checked, clearly signed by the customer and the driver before our delivery vehicle leaves the customer site.

No returns or refunds are possible if any goods are left at a customer site (with prior authorisation from the customer) without being checked or a signed delivery note being obtained.

3.1 Damaged Products
Products damaged in transit must be returned to Home Building Plastics Ltd for verification within 14 days of receipt of delivery before any credits can be issued. Clear notification of the damage must be stated on the delivery documents, to help us eliminate fraudulent claims.

3.2 Defective Products
All products with quality issues preventing installation must be returned for examination within 28 days of receipt of delivery, so we can review and resolve any issues. Clear notification of the quality issue must be stated on the delivery documents to assist us with our examination. Once a returned product is agreed as defective, credits will be raised within 7 days.
